Cambrex sought to expand its production facility to allow for API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) manufacturing operations, following cGMP guidelines. The Process Room was designed to facilitate production, product, and personnel flow. The production area was designed as an H-2 rating to allow dispensing and use of flammable liquids.

A new process control platform to monitor and control all critical aspects of the production process. Quality control, analytical, and production laboratories were included in the design. HIPP was responsible for providing the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design effort.
